Maintain communal harmony: DSP Sambaiah
Kagaznagar: The Kagaznagar DSP Sambaiah stressed on the need for peaceful conduct of Muslims festival Ramazan and cautioned them to wary of some narrow minded and unscrupulous elements, which would try to create rifts between the religions for their selfish motives.
Addressing a peace committee meeting held with elders from various religious groups at Kagaznagar in Komaram Bheem-Asiafabad district on Monday, the DSP admired the religious harmony in Kagaznagar and said the town is trouble-free and this tradition must continue. He appealed to the masses to ignore explosive posts on social media and they must report it to police station immediately.
Sambaiah also appealed to the masses to stay calm and observe the month of Ramazan with seriousness. Adequate security arrangements were made at Masques and Dargahs, he added.
Inspector Kiran Kumar, Dr Damodar, Sharath, floor leader Deshmukh Srinivas and others were present at n the meeting.
