Make TRS largest party in country: Minister Prashanth Reddy

Nizamabad: The first results of Kaleshwaram project will benefit Nizamabad district through Mid-Manair and about 72,000 acres will get irrigation water, said Transport, R&B and Legislature Affairs and Housing Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy.

As part of his two-day tour, the Minister visited Pochampad, Mupkala, Rajeshwaraopet and Rampur on Wednesday. He examined various development initiatives taken up by the government for irrigation.

He participated in the TRS membership registration in Pochampad and Balconda constituencies. Balconda constituency membership registration in-charge Bapu Reddy accompanied him. Requesting the people to join the ruling TRS to make it as the largest party with highest number of members, Reddy said the party will be strengthened by the support of TRS activists. He reminded that Telangana State is protected by the TRS. Recalling that Andhra Pradesh ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had conspired to overthrow the Telangana government five years ago, Minister Reddy ridiculed that now Babu had lost his chair.
