Malkajgiri: Police sensitise people on need for a lockdown

Malkajgiri: Observing several people come out on to streets due to lack of awareness on lockdown rules, Malkajgiri police conducted an awareness drive on the need for observing lock down rules scrupulously to prevent further spread of Coronavirus.

On Tuesday, Malkajgiri CI Manmohan along with his staff sensitised commuters on the seriousness of the situation and the need for following state government advisory on the lock down.

He appealed to the people not to come out of their houses unless it is essential and not to forget to wear masks to protect themselves when they come out. He warned commuters that they would be arrested and their vehicles seized if more than one person ride bikes or more than two in case of cars.

The cop advised people to follow the advisories for not only for their personal health and safety but also to save our nation and state from the virus. People should remember that many doctors, healthcare staff and police were striving tirelessly to protect them from the dangerous virus.
