Man attacks neighbour with knife over petty fight

Hyderabad: The police on Friday booked a case against one person for attacking his neighbour with a knife over a dispute at Hasan Nagar under Rajendranagar police station limits.

According to the police, a complaint had been lodged by Abdul Rasheed (43, auto driver) stating that one Tajamul, who was his neighbour, caused trouble to his family members regularly. He complainant stated that when he asked the accused to change his behaviour, he threatened him with dire consequences.

Rasheed stated that the accused's mother Raisen Begum Tajamul poured a bucket of water on the victim and when questioned about her behaviour she complained the same to her son.

On Friday, when the complainant was at a hotel with his friend, Tajamul came and picked up an argument and in the spur of the moment, Tajamul attacked on victim with a knife causing grievous bleeding injuries.

Rasheed was shifted to the hospital and is being treated. Police registered a case under 307 IPC and efforts are made to nab the accused.
