Man murdered near liquor shop in Warangal

A 35-year-old man was murdered near a liquor shop under Mattewada police station limits in Warangal Urban on Thursday. He was identified as Alauddin, an auto-rickshaw driver from Chamam of Papayyapet.

According to the police, Alauddin along with two others has gone to a bar on Wednesday night. The trio who were consuming alcohol were asked to leave the shop along with another group to close the shop.

However, the two groups picked up a quarrel on leaving the shop first and in the scuffle, a person hit Alauddin with a liquor bottle and his friends. He was dead on the spot with severe injuries.

While the other two were shifted to a hospital for treatment. The police registered a case and arrested three identified as Someshwar, Nadir and Shashikanth.
