Mancherial: CoE student bags gold medal at State-level Karate journey

Mancherial: Chennuri Aravind, eighth class student of Telangana Social Welfare Residential School (TSWRS), which was recently upgraded as Centre of Excellence (CoE), Bellampalli, bagged gold medal at State-level Karate tournament, informed School Principal Inala Saidulu.

Speaking with the media here on Tuesday, the principal said their student won gold medal for the best performance in 65th School Games Federation (SGF) State-level Karate tourney under 14 years category. He was selected for national-level karate competitions, which will be held from December 1 to 6th in Madhya Pradesh and his karate master S Bharath will accompany Aravind, he said.

The school staff congratulated Aravind and Chippakurthi Swadesh Raj, who got a bronze medal at State-level games and selected for international-level. School vice-principal V Pramod Kumar, PED Waman, Shivakumar, teachers Kalpana, Ramadevi, Ajeet, Raj Kumar, Ramarao, Ganapathi and other staff appreciated both the students.
