Mancherial: Collector Bharathi Hollikeri inspects Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana

Mancherial: District Collector Bharathi Hollikeri inspected Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). As part paddy harvesting experiment, she cut the harvest at Amaravadi village under Mandamarri mandal in Mancherial district on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that new experiments are being carried out in the district in Kharif season.

175 units of Bhima, 766 new crop experiments have conducted. With these new experiments in their respective villages, the farmers can calculate the production. Farmers, who have crop insurance, can get compensation for the crop failure due to non-compliance of diseases.

District Chief Planning Officer B Satyanarayana Reddy, District Agriculture Officer V Vinod Kumar, Joint Director of Agriculture Bapu, Tahsildar Mohan Reddy, Mandamarri Missioner Venkata Narayana, Kyathanpalli municipality officer Amarendar Reddy, Agriculture Extension Officer Mutyam, ZPTC Velpula Ravi, MPP Manga, and others were present.
