Mancherial: Cops on a mission to create awareness on road safety
Mancherial: Police created awareness on road safety rules to four vehicle drivers in Mancherial on Thursday, following the orders of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana and Mancherial DCP Uday Kumar Reddy.
Srirampur Inspector Koteshwar and Mancherial traffic police inspector Praveen Kumar said that they told the drivers of four vehicles to wear seat belt while driving and to follow road safety rules. They also inspected the vehicles and relevant documents.
They said that many innocent people are losing their lives due to rash and speed driving of other vehicles. Stating that no one can take away the pain of losing their family members, the cops asked everyone to drive
carefully and not to drive with high speed, not to go on wrong route, not to drive after consuming liquor, not to speak over phone while driving and finally not to break traffic rules to avoid accidents.
The drivers were advised to be vigilant and taxi drivers should reach their passengers safely to their destinations.
And everyone is told to follow road rules and reach the destination safely. The cops also suggested drivers and parents not to give the vehicles to minors and those without driving license.
Srirampur Circle Inspector B Koteshwar, Traffic CI Praveen Kumar, Jaipur SI Vijender Reddy and staff were present.
