Mancherial: MLA N Diwakar Rao felicitated

Mancherial: Nalla Kotamma – Laxmaiah Memorial Trust chairman, Municipal vice-chairman and Munnuru Kapu Sangam district president Nalla Shankar felicitated Mancherial MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao with a shawl and presented a memento at Hamaliwada in Mancherial on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Diwakar Rao remembered various services rendered by Nalla Shakar under Nalla Kotamma - Laxmaiah Memorial Trust and as Municipal vice-chairman. He said "The Trust had constructed Sai Baba temple in Hamaliwada and offering spiritual support to the devotees. Shankar worked hard for the development of 32 wards in the municipality."

The MLA assured that he will work towards the construction of a railway foot-over bridge for the people of Hamaliwada area. Development works worth Rs 3 to 4 crores have been taken up for the development of Hamaliwada, Rajeev Nagar and Tilak Nagar areas, he pointed out.

Municipal Chairperson Mamidishetty Vasundhara, counsellors Pudari Prabhakar, Buggani Ravikumar, Botla Satyanarayana, Shafi, Gariganti Saroja, P Ramadevi, Srinivas, Padala Ramanna, co-opt member Tirupathi, Sunki Satyam, Gongalla Shankar, Bhoomesh, G Satyam and others were present.
