Mancherial: Stop using plastic items

Mancherial: Regional Director-cum-Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Warangal, Shahid Masood had inspected 'Heritage Fresh' supermarket here on Wednesday and instructed the management not to use plastic bags and plastic disposable glasses.

He instructed the municipal authorities to impose a complete ban of plastic bags from January 2020 and urged the people to avoid using plastic bags and to use jute bags instead of plastic bags to protect the environment with social responsibility.

Municipal Commissioner Swarupa Rani, Bellampalli Municipal Commissioner Trayambakeshwar, Kyathanpalli Commissioner Venkata Narayana, Mandamarri Commissioner Bapu, Luxettipet Commissioner Rajalingam, Naspur Commissioner Radhakishan, Manager Venkateshwar Rao and sanitary inspector Srinivas Rao and staff were present.
