Mancherial: Tributes paid to Konda Laxman Bapuji
Mancherial: MLA Durgam Chinnaiah on Friday paid rich tributes to Konda Laxman Bapuji on his 104th birth anniversary at Social Welfare Boys Residential School in Bellampalli in Mancherial district.
The MLA, chief guest at the programme, said that Bapuji fought for separate Telangana State and TRS leader and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had achieved separate State, fulfilling Bapuji's dream.
The State government led by KCR is providing free education and accommodation to the children of weaker sections by establishing residential schools across the State.
D Chinnaiah inaugurated RO water plant in the school premises and interacted with the parents and school committee members.
ZP vice-chairman Satyanarayana, Bellampalli MPP Gomasa Srinivas, school principal I Sydulu, TRS leaders Laxman and others were present on the occasion.
