MANUU organizes 'Azad Walk'
Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has organized 'Azad Walk' at the campus today's part of the ongoing Azad Day Celebrations in the run-up to National Education Day on 11th November. MANUU is celebrating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, from November 4.
The Walk started from the HK Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies at 4.30 pm. Hundreds of students, teachers and employees of the University participated in the Walk which ended at Instructional Media Centre.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Ayub Khan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor advised the students to emulate the ideas of Maulana Azad and work with honesty, dedication & hard work. Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Convener, Azad Walk also spoke on the occasion. Prof. Naushad Hussain, Registrar I/c was also present.
NSS Volunteers were seen holding the posters and paintings on Maulana Azad highlighting the importance and awareness about Maulana Azad and his works.
Meanwhile, a film on Maulana Azad was also screened in IMC Preview Theatre at 3.00 pm. Aamir Badr was the convener of the programme.
