Many joining TRS impressed by its welfare schemes: Rega Kantha Rao
Manuguru (Kothagudem): Pinapaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao stated that people in large numbers were coming voluntarily to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Addressing the media at his camp office on Friday, the MLA said welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak were being implemented only in Telangana and attracted by those schemes, people were voluntarily joining the pink party.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has a been working towards taking the State onto the path of development, Rega said party membership drive would be completed in the consistency in a few days. He added that more members would be enrolled this year compared to previous year.
Exuding confidence that 50,000 and above would join the party this time, the MLA claimed that TRS party was the only party providing Rs 2 lakh insurance cover to party workers.
