Maoist's letters in the Agency send shivers down the spine of TRS and BJP leaders
Mulugu/Warangal: The release of letters by Maoist in agencies of Mulugu district has become a headache for the district administration. The release of two pamphlets on the 17th and 24th of this month has created turmoil all over the district. In particular, the Maoist targetted ruling TRS party, BJP leaders, tribal groups and officials in the letter. They made serious allegations against ruling party leaders and officials of Etturunagaram, Venkatapuram (K), Mangapeta and Kannaigudem in the district. The Maoists warned that there would be severe consequences if they won't change their attitude method did not change.
This letter sent shivers down the spine of TRS and BJP leaders and officials have started gathering pamphlets in the district four times in the past week. However, some leaders courageously avoided the Maoists' warnings that they did not have to face wrongdoing. Others are concerned. On May 18, the ZP chairman Kusuma Jagadish reacted to the pamphlets issued by the Maoists. He has no connection to land encroachments and corruption. Similarly, Bhupalapalli District Farmers Coordination Committee coordinator Palla Buchchayya held a press conference to address the issue and said that there is no truth in Maoist's allegations.
The district police administration was alerted with the letters. To this extent, three days ago, the accused leaders and officials were suggested to move to urban areas. The police asked to inform before their visit to Agency areas. However, the police have kept an eye on the movements of the leaders and officials.
