Maruti Rao death: Amrutha says her father may have felt regret for killing Pranay

He might have felt regret for killing Pranay and committed suicide, said Amrutha Varshini daughter of Maruthi Rao. She said that she was not in touch with her father since her husband Perumalla Pranay Kumar's death and learned about his father's death through media.

"No one has informed about his death. He might have felt regret for Pranay's death. However the exact is the reason is yet to be known," said Amrutha.

Maruthi Rao has found dead in a room at Arya Vysya Bhavan in Chintalbasti. He rented the room on Saturday evening. The staff at Arya Vysya Bhavan informed the police after finding him dead in the room.

The post-mortem for Maruti Rao's dead body has been completed at Gandhi Hospital and the body is being shifted to his home in Miryalaguda. Meanwhile, the Miryalaguda police tightened security at Rao's residence to prevent any untoward incidents.
