Mass marriages on November 8 in Mancherial

Mancherial: Samajik Jagruthi Welfare Society will conduct mass marriages on November 8 in Mancherial, informed Society president O Saritha and secretary Usha Sankla at a press meet here on Thursday.

They said that the society has been conducting mass marriages as part of social service. The society was formed in 2014 and for the first time conducted mass marriages in 2016 for seven couple. Informing that they are making arrangements for 11 couples to tie the knot-free of cost, they said that interested couples should register their names till October 25 with a registration fee of Rs 11,000. The society will gift items worth Rs 1 lakh to each couple.

Saritha and Usha said that those, who cannot pay the registration fee, also can register their names for mass marriage. The society will provide food for 25 persons from bride family and 25 persons from the bridegroom family. For further details, they asked to call on 7674819003 and 855026646,

Society treasurer Chetana Gupta, Premalatha Agarwal, Aruna Gupta, Prabha Agarwal, Rekha Pipalwa, Kiran Enani, Deepika, Chandrakala and others were present at the press meet.
