Master plan to get government nod: Errabelli

Warangal: Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao has said that proposed Master Plan – 2041 would reflect the aspirations of people in Warangal.

The Minister who discussed at length with the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) Chairman Marri Yadava Reddy, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, Greater Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, chief secretary of municipal department Aravind Kumar and KUDA vice chairman N Ravi Kiran in Hyderabad onFriday, said that process is on to implement the master plan by bringing in changes that fulfil the requirements of people.

He directed Aravind Kumar to speed up the process to get approval for the master plan. "The master plan has been designed as per the future requirements of the city.

The master plan covers three districts, 19 mandals and 181 revenue villages covering an area of 1,800 sq km. It covered 20 times more area than the previous master plan prepared in 1971," he said.

He said that the master plan focussed on the development of parks, 2,000 tanks, inner ring road, outer ring road, regional ring road etc. KUDA Planning officer E Ajith Reddy was also present.
