MBBS classes to start at AIIMS, Bibinagar from today
Hyderabad: MBBS classes at AIIMS Bibinagar are set to commence from August 27 (Tuesday). According to senior officials from Telangana Health department, it will be a low-key affair as only the academic session is being started at present.
AIIMS Bhopal team, doctors and students who got seats in the Bibinagar institute would be taking part in the programme with no big names to grace the occasion.
AIIMS Bhopal is given the In-charge responsibility by the Union Health Ministry to look after the functioning and running of classes at AIIMS, Telangana for the initial period as construction and other development works are taken up in parallel.
As per the modifications suggested by AIIMS Bhopal authorities, Telangana officials made changes in the interior works in the old NIMS, Bibinagar building to facilitate classrooms and also hostel facility for the first batch of 50 MBBS students who enrolled here.
