Medak begins to hot up again
Medak: The day temperature on Thursday once again touched 39 degrees Celsius, with Medak, Mahbubnagar and Nizambad recording the highest for the day, even as dry weather prevailed across the State.
The maximum temperatures were above normal by two to four degrees Celsius at a few places.
The day temperatures recorded in the State were: Adilabad, Bhadrachalam, Hyderabad and Ramagundam 38 deg C each, Hakimpet, Khammam & Nalgonda 37 each, Hanmakonda 36. The minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius was registered in Medak and Hakimpet, the Met department bulletin said.
According to the forecast, dry weather was very likely to prevail from March 15 to 18.
The maximum day temperatures were likely to be above normal by two to four degrees C at a few places on March 15 and 16.
No large change during the period March 19-21 is the weather outlook.
