Medak: Brahmotsavam commences at Sangameshwara temple

Jharasangam: Brahmotsavam of the famous Sri Ketaki Sangameshwara Swamy commenced with pomp and gaiety here on Tuesday. The event started with worshipping of Ganapati and other rituals. The Brahmotsavam is organised on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri every year. District Collector Hanumantha Rao, local MLA Manik Rao, MP BB Patil and MLC Fareeduddin had overseen all the arrangements.

The temple is decked up with special arrangements. Works like cleaning the surroundings, garbage removal were completed. Special space is earmarked for parking vehicles. Devotees from neighbouring states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra will visit the temple on the occasion. Temple EO Mohan Reddy said elaborate arrangements were made so that no devotees would face any inconvenience.
