Medak sees highest day temp of 38 deg C

Medak: The maximum day temperatures are likely to be above normal by two to three degree Celsius in some parts of Telangana on March 12, said a bulletin issued by the Met department on Monday. Dry weather is very likely to prevail in the State, it stated.

According to the bulletin, on Monday the highest day temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, Medak and Nizamabad. The lowest night temperature of 21 degrees C was registered in Hakimpet and Medak. The other day temperatures in the State were: Bhadrachalam, Hyderabad, Khammam, Ramagundam & Mahbubnagar 37 each and Hakimpet, Hanamkonda, Nalgonda 36 each. The day temperatures experienced an appreciable rise ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in some parts. They were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees C in some parts and rose markedly by 4.1 degrees or more in others.
