Medak: Spread greenery, ensure hygiene, urges District Additional Collector Nagesh

Medak: District Additional Collector Nagesh said special plans should be prepared to address the issues that have come to the attention of the authorities as part of the town planning programme.

A review meeting on the town planning was held with the municipal commissioners of the district and special officials of the wards, at the 'Prajavani' hall of the district collectorate.

Nagesh said that the problems in the respective wards should be specially entered in a register and there should be a plan to address the issues in each municipality.

The commissioners with their resources should set up a nursery specially for each municipality as the state government was giving priority to greenery and hygiene. "It is suggested that special measures be taken to protect planted plants as part of the last Haritha Haram program.

Parks within the municipality should take measures to preserve the plants in other empty areas. Special authorities should take appropriate steps to solve the problems that have accumulated in the wards," he said.
