Medchal: CMR holds conference on cyber-physical Engineering

Medchal: The Department of CSE, CMR Engineering College, organised the 'Third International Conference on Communications and Cyber-Physical Engineering (ICCCE – 2020) on the campus.

The conference brought together reputed academicians, researchers and industry experts in the fields of communication, computing and networking on a common forum, for holding constructive discussions on theoretical concepts and practical ideas to promote a digital nation.

The conference was inaugurated by the chief guest, Prof Athif Bin Mohd Faudzi, UTM, Malaysia, in the presence of college secretary Ch Srisailam Reddy, principal Dr AS Reddy, HoD-CSE Dr Sheo Kumar and organising chair Dr Kumaraswamy, directors and principals of CMR Group of Institutions.

The keynote talk was delivered by the chief guest on bio-inspired creation and its applications. He explained the the importance of Robotics Engineering to the students.

Dr M Kumaraswamy briefed the gathering on the themes of the two-day conference and delivered the summary of international conference. A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Sheo Kumar.

More than180 papers were received from various central and state universities like NITK, Surathkal, KL University, ICFAI, NMAMIT NITTE and industries like SAP, ADP and IDRB. The papers were reviewed by various scrutinising committees and the reviewed details were forwarded to the authors concerned for necessary changes.

The conference was attended by more than 90 participants and a total of 45 technical papers on various topics supported by recent innovative trends in engineering and technology were presented by the authors and all accepted papers were published in Springer Journal.

The students and faculty members from various colleges also participated and presented their papers at the conference.

At the valedictory session, Principal Dr A S Reddy presented certificates to the paper presenters. He pointed out that the discussions and the deliberations at the conference showed faith in the strength of partnerships and collaborations for development at a broader level.
