MEO warns against sending children to work

Peddemul: Children should be sent to schools and, instead, if anyone sends them to work, stringent action would be taken against them, MEO Srinivas said. As part of World Day Against Child Labour, Child Line and Rotary Club jointly organised several programmes in Adikicharla, Baimeedi Thanda and Urenti Thanda here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MEO explained to the parents about the consequences of sending their children to work. Sarpanches, Upasarpanches, chairmen of Vidya committees, representatives of Child Line Narsimulu Goud, Jyothi and Venkatesh were present on the occasion.
