Met forecasts more rains in TS after August 12

Medak: More rain may occur in Telangana as a fresh low pressure area is likely to form over the north-west Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood around August 12, the Met department bulletin said on Friday.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places over Telangana from August 10 to 13. No large change during the period August 14-16 is the weather outlook.

With the depression moving away towards central parts of Madhya Pradesh, the Southwest Monsoon has turned normal over Telangana during the last 24 hours endings at 8.30 am on Friday. Rain occurred at several places in Medak and Siddipet districts, the bulletin said.

While there was 2 cm rain each in Tupran, Regode (both in Medak), Dubbak (Siddipet),one cm each occurred in Kowdipalle, Narsapur (both in Medak), Jagadevpur, Bejjanki and Nanganur (all in Siddipet).
