Met forecasts rains for next four days

Siddipet: According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places in the State from August 9 to 12.

The Met department bulletin said Wednesday's deep depression over south Jharkhand and its neighbourhood moved west-northwards and weakened into a depression. It is very likely to continue to move west north-westwards and weaken gradually into a well marked low pressure area during next 48 hours.

There was four cm rain in Jagadevpur (Siddipet) and three cm each in Dindigul (M. Malkajgiri), Maheswaram (RR), Gajwel (Siddipet), Jogipet (Sangareddy).

Two cm rain each occurred in Doma (Vikarabad), Tupran, Tekmal , Medak, Narsapur, Ramayampet, Alladurg, Chegunta, Regode, Papannapet (all in Medak), Wargal, Dubbak (both Siddipet), Ibrahimpatnam, Kondurg (both in RR) , Medchal (M. Malkajgiri), Bomraspeta (Vikarabad), Narayankhed, Hathanoora, Sadasivpet, Naykal (all in Sangareddy).

There was one cm rain in Tandur, Doultabad, Shamirpet, Tekulapalle, Vicarabad, Munipalli, Kohir, Sangareddy, Peddemul, Bejjanki, Raikode, Kodangal, Mirdoddi, Nangnoor, Hakimpet IAF station, Kondapur, Yacharam, Mominpet, Chevella, Parigi, Manchal and Marpalle.
