Metro rail, airport to Warangal: KTR

To develop Warangal on a par with Hyderabad, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao proposed metro rail airport to Warangal.

Speaking in a review meeting, the minister said that the monorail for about 15 km will be launched in Warangal and an airport in Mamunuru. He also assured to bring 29 km of ring road available by June 2 out of the total 68 km.

"A master plan has also been approved for the development of Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA). The plan has been designed keeping in mind about the future developments that will bring change to the entire Warangal," the minister said.

With the new plan, Warangal will be secure a place in the list of top cities, KT Rama Rao said.
