Metro Rail begins enquiry into Ameerpet Station accident

Hyderabad: Statutory enquiry by Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety(CMRS), Ministry of Civil Aviation, GoI into the accident that happened at Ameerpet station of Hyderabad Metro Rail project started today.

J.K.Garg, CMRS inspected the accident site at Ameerpet station today along with NVS Reddy, MD, HMRL, Ram Meher, Dy CMRS and the engineers concerned of HMRL and L&TMRHL.

This is a preliminary inspection. Further inspections will be done in due course and the required engineering tests will be got done under the supervision of IIT, Hyderabad. Public hearing will be held by CMRS at Metro Rail Bhavan on 3rd of October, according to a press release.
