Milk powder worth 15 lakh seized

Mailardevpally: The Vigilance and Enforcement sleuths seized milk powder worth Rs 15 lakh in Mailardevpally police station limits on Sunday. The accused were illegally transporting the milk powder which was allocated for the school children in Karnataka.

Police seized 150 bags of milk powder while being transported illegally in a DCM van by the accused. They were supplying the milk powder bags to the chocolate manufacturing companies to earn easy money. The accused along with the seized material have been handed over to the Mailardevpally police station for further action.
