Minister directs officials to fill vacant posts in PR department

Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao on Sunday said that action plan has been prepared to strengthen his department which holds the key in progress of villages.

He directed the officials to prepare the details of post wise vacancies in the department and submit the same to him by Monday.

He also told them to be prepared for the implementation of 60 Days Plan as instructed by the Chief Minister.

The minister said that the Chief Minister is planning to bring a policy for the development of villages. He instructed the higher ups to give promotions to officers and fill the vacant posts.

The district panchayat officers should be appointed to all the districts, he said and added that the Mandal Parishad Development Officer and other posts should also be filled.

Each village must have a secretary. Enough sanitary staff should be appointed and honorarium provided.
