Minister inspects road widening works, meets property losers in Wanaparthy
Wanaparthy: Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy visited the colonies where the authorities were taking up the road widening works and interacted with people whose houses were being demolished in the road widening, on Wednesday.
The Minister was accompanied by District Collector Sweta Mohanty and Wanaparthy Superintendent of Police Apoorva Rao, who toured the local colonies of the district and met the locals to enquire about their problems and issues.
"We are getting full cooperation from the public for the road widening of all major roads in the district. The road widening project has been pending for so many years. We have taken up the daring step of widening the roads with the cooperation of people.
We are committed to provide all the necessary compensation and help those who are losing their valuable property in the road widening. However, their sacrifices will not be forgotten, as they have come forward extending their help in the process of development of Wanaparthy district," said the Agriculture Minister.
