Minister Nirajan Reddy inaugurates Paddy purchase centre in Wanaparthy

Minister for Agriculture Singireddy Nirajan Reddy has inaugurated Paddy Purchase centre in Balijapalli village of Peddamandadi mandal of Wanaparthy district on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the farmers have to sell the crops at the best prices. He also said that the farmers will get minimum subsidy price at the Paddy procurement centres set up by the government.

ZP chairman Loknath Reddy and other public representatives were present at the inaugural ceremony.

On November 6, 2019, Minister for BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar inaugurated paddy procurement centre at Durshed village of Karimnagar Rural mandal. The minimum subsidy price has been set at Rs 1835 per quintal of grade A and Rs 1815 for common grain.
