Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy travels in Metro train, takes feedback from commuters
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metro Rail had a VIP passenger on Sunday. Roads & Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and his wife travelled in Hyderabad Metro train from Erramanzil metro station to LB Nagar on Sunday afternoon.
He said this was his first journey in Hyderabad Metro after the services were thrown open for public travel. Prashanth Reddy was going to LB Nagar to attend a family function.
Like a normal passenger, Prashanth Reddy stood inside the train for some time as the seats were occupied. He interacted with other passengers and took feedback from them about the services
HMR officials said passengers gave a positive feedback and added they were happy with the service. They informed the minister that passenger patronage was high on working days and accordingly additional trips were being operated and the frequency of trains was also increased based on the demand.
