Hyderabad: Missing school student's body found under suspicious condition

HYDERABAD: 14 -year-Old girl who went missing after attending special classes from school on Thursday in Kessara, was found dead under the suspicious condition in a 50-ft deep dried up well at Bommalaramaram, 40 km from here, on Friday evening.

Rachakonda police, who are not sure if the girl was raped, however, believe she was murdered.

It was believed that the girl hired an autorickshaw in Keesara along with two others after the classes and got down at Bommalaramaram.

While the two girls left in one direction as they belonged to a different native, the victim, who hailed from Hazipur village in Bommalaramaram mandal, was supposed to have taken another route to reach her residence, which is 4 km from the place where the three girls had got down.

When the girl did not turn up till late on Thursday, the family lodged a complaint with police, who registered a kidnap case.

Meanwhile, locals of the village, which is located two-and-a-half km from Bommalaramaram, found a school bag in a well and alerted police immediately.

When cops reached the spot, they also found some beer bottles."There are two wells which have dried up in the vicinity. In one well, the bag was found and in another, which is about 50ft deep, we found the girl's body.

Her body was covered in leaves when we went there, said deputy commissioner of police K Narayana Reddy Yadadri Zone.

Around 7 pm, cops traced out the body of the girl from the well. How was the girl killed and if it was a murder or sexual abuse it can be ruled out only after an autopsy report, a police official said.

The area where the body was found in dry farmland and police suspect the victim was dragged for over 100 meters before she was killed.

Till the last report came in cops, with the help of disaster management officials were trying to bring out the girl's body.

Angered by the incident, some locals damaged a police officer's vehicle.
