MLA Dr Laxma Reddy laid Stone for Ambedkar Kala Bhavan in Jadcherla
Jadcherla: Jadcherla MLA Dr Laxma Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of Ambedkar Kala Bhavan in Jadcherla town on Friday.
While speaking on the occasion, the former Health Minister said that the State government was catering to the needs of all sections of the people. "Government is giving equal priority to all sections in the State. Be it SCs, STs, and BCs each and every community is being provided with some or the other welfare and development programme. Earlier last week we inaugurated a Banjara Bhavan for the ST community and now we are laying foundation stone for Ambadkar Kala Bhavan in Jadcherla. This will help the people of the respective communities to come together and discuss their problems and issues and find a solution for the same. I shall ensure that all communities get their due share of welfare and development and ensure growth and development for all equally," he said.
Later, the MLA took a dig at earlier government's during erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and said that during their rule of 70 years in the State no community saw any kind of development. He alleged that the Congress party had ruined the lives of SCs and STs and did not provide them any kind of welfare and development and used them as vote banks.
