MLA Prakash Goud to address issues of Vamsaraj community in Rajendranagar
Rajendranagar: Complaining of discrimination in using cemetery of another caste, a delegation of Vamsaraj community on Monday called on Rajendranagar MLA T Prakash Goud and apprised him of the grave situation the community was facing to perform last rites of their people.
A delegation of Budwell Vamsaraj Welfare Communittee, led by Zilla Grandhalaya Samastha Director in Rangareddy district Korani Dayanand, met the MLA at his residence and made a representation requesting him to provide suitable space to form a separate cemetery for their people. They also apprised him of all other issues concerning their colony at Budvel. Upon listening all the grievances attentively, the MLA assured them that all their grievances would be addressed soon. Particularly, the issue of land for cemetery would be resolved soon and a community hall would also be constructed to facilitate the Vamsaraj community to perform their programmes.
"I will hold a review meeting with the officials of revenue department to prepare a special plan for the allotment of land for the same," he assured. "After the formation of Telangana, the KCR government is committed to the development of every sphere of life in the state," he stated.
Members of the Vamsaraj Welfare Committee such as Balakrishna, Susikala, Raj Kumar, Ramesh, Shankar, Ashok, Balraj, Giri babu, Sivakumar, Lakshmamma, Yadagiri, Narsing Rao and other were present at the occasion.
