MLA Raja Singh demands NRC in Telangana
BJP MLA Raja Singh from Goshamahal demanded National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Telangana after Assam has released its NRC list today. He urged the BJP national president and union Minister Amit Shah to implement NRC in Telangana as well.
He also took a dig at Hyderabad MP, saying that he has given shelter to many Bangladeshi and Rohingyas for his vote bank. "NRC should be implemented from September 17 on the Hyderabad liberation day," he said.

Over 3.11 crore names were included in the final list of NRC, Assam, according to Prateek Hajela, State Coordinator of NRC. "Around 3,11,21,004 applicants found eligible for inclusion in final NRC, leaving out 19,06,657 persons, including those who did not submit their claims," the official said.
