MLC polls for one Graduate, two Teachers segments today

Hyderabad: Biennial elections to the Telangana Legislative Council from Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates constituency and Teachers Constituencies in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda and Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar would be held from 8 am to 4 pm on March 22 (Friday).

The office of the State Chief Electoral Officer has asked electors in their respective assembly constituencies to produce EPIC (Photo ID Card) or any other alternative documents like Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving license, PAN card, Service ID card issued by educational institutions, certificate of degree/diploma issued by university etc. to exercise their franchise For the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates constituency, 17 candidates are in the fray while the number of total voters is (1.96 lakh) and the number of polling stations is 376.

Meanwhile, seven contestants are vying for the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Teachers constituency that will be conducted in 253 polling stations while the number of voters is 23, 214.

In the third constituency Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers, nine candidates are in the fray while 185 polling stations are readied for 20, 888 electors to exercise their franchise.
