MLC polls: TRS candidate Tera Chinnappa Reddy files papers

Nalgonda: Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that whatever may be the election, the winners would always be the TRS candidates. On Monday, along with former MP Gutha Sukender Reddy, he participated in party local body MLC candidate from Nalgonda district Tera Chinnappa Reddy's nomination programme in Nalgonda.

Speaking to the media, the Minister exuded confidence that Chinnappa Reddy will win the MLC election. He predicted that by winning majority ZPTC seats, TRS will grab all three ZP chairmen seats in erstwhile Nalgonda district. "TRS under the strong leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao became the most powerful party in the State," he underlined.

Chinnappa Reddy thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for giving him the opportunity of contesting the MLC polls for the second time. He exuded confidence that this time he would win the election with record majority. He informed that as a responsible leader of TRS, he would play his role for the development of Telangana. Later, Chinnappa Reddy submitted his nomination papers to returning officer and Joint Collector V Chandra Shekar at his chambers in district collectorate in Nalgonda.

Meanwhile, Congress is fielding Munugodu MLA Rajgopal Reddy's wife Komatireddy Laxmi against Chinnappa Reddy. In previous MLC election, Rajgopal Reddy defeated Chinnappa Reddy.
