Mobiles not allowed in polling stations: Devasena

Peddapalli: Collector Sri Devasena stated that mobiles are not allowed inside the polling station during local body elections. Along with the officials, she reviewed the arrangements for conducting the second phase of elections, through video conference here on Wednesday.

The Collector said no one should not take selfies in either in the premises or in the polling station.

378 polling stations were set up for the second phase election. 1,67,379 voters of Peddapalli, Odela, Julapalli, Sultanabad, Srirampur and Eligadu mandals will vote on Friday.

Sri Devasena said that 6 ZPTC and 69 MPTC constituency are going to poll and asked the staff to conduct the polls peacefully.

Joint Collector Vanaja Devi, Deputy CEO ZP Vinod Kumar, DEO Venkateshwer Rao, DDA Tirumal, women welfare officer Chandra Prakash Reddy and others have attended the video conference.
