Monsoon to reach Telangana on June 20: IMD Hyderabad

With the formation of pressure over the Bay of Bengal in the next four days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted monsoon to reach Telangana on June 20.

An IMD official Raja Rao said that the monsoon currents were extended to Kerala completely on Saturday. For the last few days, the monsoon appeared to be weak as its progress slowed down due to the weak rainfall activity over Karnataka, AP and Telangana.

According to the revised schedule, monsoon will reach Andhra Pradesh by June 18 and Telangana by June 20.
