More voters registered ahead of civic polls in Armoor

Armoor: The number of voters was increased in the wake of elections to Nizamabad Municipal Corporation and other municipalities. Most of the names of the voters are listed in the joint district. The number of voters was increased after several villages were merged with the towns. Voters from the nearby villages are also listed.

Due to the reorganisation of wards, many candidates can contest the municipal elections this time. So far, the total number of voters belonging to BC, SC and ST communities, and female voters has been revealed.

Voter registration is allowed until the election dates are announced. The officials had announced the voters list on July 17 for finalisation of the reservations. Those, who want to contest this election, are touring the wards before the reservations. Leaders competing for wards have already started to woo the voters. The leaders are ready to contest and waiting for the election to be conducted.
