Morning walk proves fatal for Hyderabadi in US

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old Hyderabadi, Gongalla Sahith Reddy, who has been staying in the US since 2016 died in a tragic accident on Saturday.

Sahith was used to morning walks. On Saturday morning while he stepped out of his house, a car rammed into him and he died on the spot due to heavy bleeding.

Back home in Hyderabad, a pall of gloom descended at his house in Nallakunta. His family members said that Sahith was a bright boy who left for New Jersey to complete MS. Madhusudhan Reddy, the father was inconsolable while narrating the sequence of events.

Reddy said that soon after the accident, the car driver informed the police. The New Jersey police registered a case and informed his colleagues and within no time the news spread among the Indian community.

The family members urged the Union External Affairs Ministry and the Telangana Government to extend support in bringing back the body of Sahith to Hyderabad.

In the meanwhile, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited the family members on Tuesday and assured them all possible help.
