In view of the above the MP decided to represent the Union Railway Minister to consider the allocation of more funds to various railway projects in the district and urged him to grant new railway lines in the district.

The MP requested the Railway Minister to sanction the survey for the new lines connecting Yadgir in Karnataka, Narayanpet, Makthal, Mahabubnagar, Jadcherla, Kalwakurty, Devarkonda, Nalgonda and Suryvapet and connecting this line with other major cities of Andhra Pradesh.

As Mahbubnagar district is known for migration of people from the district to various cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and other States in the country, this railway line will not only connect the rural parts of south Telangana and north Karnataka. It will also be economical with pressure on freight lines on other lines will reduce drastically as this section will reduce lot of distance between top cities and at the same time enhance increased connectivity and business activity in the region and people will get more employment, he added.

The MP also stressed on establishment of an industrial corridor along the National Highway 44 from Kottur near Hyderabad to Gadwal and link up to Bangalore. Similarly another industrial corridor proposal between Kottur and Raichur along the NH 167 was also put before the Union Minister. "There is a lot of land available for establishing industrial corridors between Hyderabad and Bangalore and Hyderabad- Raichur along the two National Highways of NH 44 and NH 167. These two highways are passing through Mahbubnagar and if industrial corridors are established it will not only develop industries in the region but will also provide employment to lakhs of people in the district and stop migration of people to other regions.

The MP also urged the Union Railway Minister to consider halt for all the Express and super express Trains at Devarkadra railway station.
