MPP elections peaceful in Suryapet

Suryapet: District Collector Amoy Kumar had stated that election for the posts of Mandal Praja Parishad presidents, vice-presidents, co-optive members was completed in a peaceful manner in the district. On Friday, along with district election observer M Jagadishwar and SP R Venkateshwarlu, he inspected the election process at Penpahad and Suryapet MPDO offices.

Speaking on the occasion, Amoy Kumar said that all necessary steps have been taken for the smooth conduct of polls. He enquired the officials concerned about the election procedure during the inspection.

Superintendent of Police R Venkateshwarlu informed that all security measures were taken at all offices in the district where elections were conducted. District election observer M Jagadishwar expressed his pleasure over the arrangements.

Zilla Parishad Deputy CEO Vijay Laxmi, Minority Welfare Officer L Srinivas, Tahsildar Sudharshan and others accompanied the Collector.
