Mulugu: Traffic stranded on NH-163

Mulugu: The vehicular traffic came to a grinding halt on National Highway 163 near Pasra in Mulugu district on Friday when a temporary road washed away due to heavy rains in the region.

It may be mentioned here that the temporary road was laid to divert the traffic. The officials who swung into action made alternate arrangements by allowing traffic pass through the incomplete part of under construction road.

However, they allowed only light vehicles suspending movement of heavy vehicles. Only long-distance buses are being allowed to pass through on the national highway. The NH 163 connects Hyderabad with Bhupalpatnam in Chhattisgarh.
