Muslims urged to support TRS in Huzurnagar bypoll

Chilukur (Suryapet): Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that TRS was the only government which has been making the Muslim minorities as partners in both development and welfare schemes.

On Tuesday, along with Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Jagadish participated in a meeting of Muslim community members held at Chilukur of Kodad constituency in the district.

Addressing the gathering, the Energy Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had taken several measures to bring communal harmony in the State. People of various religions in the State are living happily together by honouring others' cultures and traditions, he said, urging the Muslim minorities to observe the change in their lifestyle after TRS government came to power in the State.

The State government has established Muslim Minority schools to provide quality education to students of poor Muslim families, Jagadish said. Home Minister Mahmood Ali, in his speech, stated that every part of Telangana has been developing after 2014 and the State has been progressing rapidly under K Chandrashekar Rao's rule. "TRS government made Muslim minorities partners in every scheme on par with others in the State," he said.

He urged the Muslims to support TRS in Huzurnagar bypoll and release the constituency from the clutches of inefficient Congress party.

Kodad MLA Bollam Mallaiah Yadav, Nalgonda MLA Bhupal Reddy, MLC Tera Chinnapa Reddy, Muslim minority leaders and supporters participated in the meeting.
