Nadda takes part in door-to-door drive in city
Hyderabad: On the second day of his visit to the city, BJP national president Jaya Prakash Nadda on Monday participated in a door-to-door membership drive as part of 'Sangathan Parv Sadsyata Abhiyan' at the EWS colony under the Musheerabad Assembly segment.
The party working president along with party national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao and State president K Laxman, former MP G Vivekananda and other leaders visited Dr B R Ambedkar College at Baghlingampally and planted a sapling as part of the green initiative. During the door-to-door membership drive, Nadda signed the membership applications and admitted applicants as the primary members of the party.
Later, he left for New Delhi in the afternoon. Meanwhile, several academicians and intellectuals joined the party on Monday. They included Zia UI Haq Hisamuddin, a social activist and academic writer, Mudalkar Sandeep, an IT professional who is also a trainer and adviser on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime, Srinivas Prasad, an NRI and national president of Bharat

Krishna Reddy, an IT professional and Laxmi Reddy, a political analyst were among those who joined the party in the presence of the state BJP president.
