Nagarkurnool: 40 beneficiaries receive Kalyana Lakshmi cheques by MLA Jaipal Yadav

Nagarkurnool: As many as 40 beneficiaries were handed over Kalyana Lakshmi cheques in Talakondapally mandal of Kalwakurthy constituency on Friday. Kalwakurthy MLA Jaipal Yadav handed over the cheques to the beneficiaries and said that the Telangana government was giving highest priority to the welfare of poor in the State. "The government is doing all that it can to ensure every section of people gets the fruits of development," said Jaipal Yadav.

However, the Talakondapally ZPTC Uppal Venkatesh, who was present on the occasion, alleged that the government was giving extending the benefits of welfare schemes to only those who were favouring the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, and ignoring others. He also added that the government was publicising its schemes more while the beneficiaries under these schemes were only a handful of them.
