Nagarkurnool: Alevelumanga Venkateshwara swamy Kalyanam celebrated in Kollapur
Nagarkurnool: Marking the Brahmostvam of Alivelumanga-Venkateshwara Swami, seated at the hill top temple in Ramapuram village of Kollapur mandal in Nagarkurnool district, a large number of people took part in the Kalyanamahostva programme held on Thursday.
Thousands of devotees from surrounding villages took part in large numbers and took the darshan of 'Alivelumanga and Venkateshwara Swami' during the Brahmostovam programme.
Every year during this time, the Alivelumanga-Venkateshwar Swami Brahmostvam is performed and on the occasion the Kalyanamahostvam is also held and thousands of devotes come here to take darshan of Lord Venkateshwara and Alivelumanga, informed Rangaiah Chary, a priest of the temple.
Devotees believe that Lord Venkateshwara comes to the abode of Alivelumanga to pacify her anger during this time. Marking this occasion as a very auspicious, where Alivelumanga and Venkateshwara Swami both together, locals believe taking blessing of Lord during this time will give them more prosperity and they can achieve their desires and goals easily with the Lords's blessings.
